The Produce Resource Business Plans processes develop and deliver annual and multi-year resource plans in support of services, products and offers that include volume forecasts, negotiation for required levels of resources and budgets, gaining resource development and management as well as supply chain commitment and executive approval for the plans. Forecasting of aggregate or high level resource demand, and capturing of new opportunities, are both essential to ensure that budgets are assigned which allow the enterprise to implement the resources capabilities and capacity necessary for the future needs of their customers and potential customers. The processes assess the impacts that new or modified resource infrastructure will cause on the installed infrastructure and workforce, and establish the functions and benefits that new or modified resource will provide to users. These processes identify the timetables and logistics for new resource capability introduction.
