The process analyses the AR Aging report (rolling rate) and other information according to the financial department policies, appropriate accounts that meet the criteria and conditions are written off. The standard AR Aging-, AR Balance Forward reports (e.g.. 30, 60, 90 day report is reviewed for delinquent wholesale customers. Appropriate accounts are written off, balance of the account is adjusted, and journaled. If the account fits the assignment criteria then they are sent to the outside collections agency for collections.
