Adjust Capacity makes one or more adjustments to planned or actual capacity and capacity demand and communicates adjustment(s) to impacted stakeholders. It is important to notify stakeholders because of the relationship among the various types of capacity and capacity demand. For example, a change in product offering capacity demand may mean that resource infrastructure processes, such as Resource Capability Delivery, may need to be carried out to make any necessary resource infrastructure adjustments based on the reduced product offering demand. This also implies a reduction to resource capacity and resource demand.
