This class defines how to forward network traffic by adding specific semantics that characterize the operation of the Expedited Forwarding (EF) Service (RFC3246 and RFC3247).\n\nThe recommended DSCP for defining EF is 101110. called expedited forwarding (EF). The EF PHB can be used to build a low loss, low latency, low jitter, assured bandwidth, end-to-end service through DiffServ-compliant domains. Such a service appears to the endpoints like a point-to-point connection or a #@#@virtual leased line#@#@.\n\nThe PHB for this class and its DSCP value come from DiffServService. However, this class defines attributes that can be used as #@#@implementation hints#@#@ to the rest of the network to ensure that interoperability is achieved even if heterogeneous devices are being used.\n
