A Scheduler is used in the network forwarding path to determine how output queues are serviced. This service uses the QueuingService to store packets and then services these queues according to a pre-defined algorithm.\n\nNote that when there is no congestion, the net effect is simply FIFO. However, when there is congestion, scheduling is the primary QoS action component.\n\n
